Shaping the future of
eTruck charging

E.ON Drive Infrastructure - e-truck charging across Europe

At E.ON Drive Infrastructure, we’re committed to setting new standards in the eTruck charging landscape across Europe by providing scalable, high-performance solutions.

Our mission is to build the critical infrastructure for a seamless transition to e-mobility, reducing emissions and supporting a sustainable future for logistics through innovation, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to efficiency.

Scalable, Green-Certified Charging Solutions

We’re focused on delivering solutions that are both flexible and future-proof. Our charging stations are not just designed for the needs of today’s eTrucks, but also for the demands of tomorrow.

All the energy used in our charging stations is 100% certified green, ensuring that our solutions contribute to sustainability across all sectors.

Our focus on scalability ensures that our charging infrastructure can grow in line with demand. By offering ultra-fast charging solutions, we empower industries to enhance efficiency and drive Europe’s transition to a carbon-neutral economy.

EON Drive Infrastructure Charging Network with MAN

Building Europe’s public eTruck Network

At E.ON Drive Infrastructure, we recognize that the shift to electric trucking requires more than just high-power charging—it demands a network that enables long-distance travel and cross-border operations. That’s why we’ve partnered with MAN, on one of several key projects to develop an ambitious eTruck charging network across Europe.

All sites are accessible to the public, regardless of the make of vehicle. eTruck drivers benefit from the existing infrastructure, such as sanitary facilities and recreation rooms.

As part of our partnership, we are building around 400 charging points at 170 key logistics locations across Europe, making it easier for eTrucks to remain operational on key transport routes.

Expanding eTruck Charging Network

We are already operating eTruck charging sites in Denmark (Hoje Taastrup / Hirshtals), Sweden (Norrköping) and Germany (Port of Hamburg, Berlin-Wildau). All hubs are equipped with up to ultra-fast 400 kW chargers, enabling eTrucks to recharge for a range of up to 300 kilometers in about 45 minutes.  We’ve designed all these chargers to be upgraded to megawatt charging system (MCS).

Further stations are in construction and will go live soon: Karlsfeld (Germany), Fürstenwalde (Germany) and Padborg (Denmark). With seven charge points, Padberg will be Denmark’s largest eTruck charging hub next to the German border, boosting cross-border logistics.

Leading Innovation through Testing

Our efforts don’t stop at installation. We are pioneering electromobility through the largest independent test and innovation center in Europe. This facility, designed for testing heavy-duty eTrucks and multi-manufacturer charging stations, allows us to ensure optimal compatibility between vehicles and charging infrastructure.

The E.ON Drive TestingLab is the only facility in Europe where fast charging in heavy-duty vehicles can be tested with up to three megawatts of power.
